Alfred makes the Butkus Award Watch List
Alfred was named to the preseason
Dick Butkus award watch list. It
It has always been a dream of his for a long time to win this prestigious
award. Just being named to the list has filled him with joy and the confidence.
The list was cut from 64 to 12 players and Alfred did not make the second
cut. Although to be recognized as one of the 12 best linebackers in the
country would've been be a great accomplishment for him, it show's a great
improvement in the UConn Program that he and fellow linebacker Maurice
Lloyd were on the watch list.
